Lily Bee Sketch and Layout in Honor of Mother's Day

In honor of Mother's Day, May 13th, I made this layout for the Lily Bee Blog today using a scanned photo of my Mother.
Cardstock:  American Crafts
Patterned Paper:  Lily Bee
Frame:  Crate paper
Button:  Basic Grey (wooden), My Mind’s Eye (blue, red, and banner)
Envelope:  Maya Road
Die cut:  Lily Bee
Stickers:  Lily Bee
Flare:  October Afternoon
Brad:  My Mind’s Eye
Ribbon:  misc. (blue), Pink Paislee (canvas pennants)

Go over to the Lily Bee blog to see the sketch I made for this layout.  You have until May 14th to enter and could win some Lily Bee goodies!
I added some extra detail by doing some hand stitching to the leaves, die cut frame, and envelope flap.
And I will say, I didn't think about doing a Mother's Day related layout until Linda from Lily Bee reminded us.  I'm so glad I scrapped the layout of my Mother.  But there was another layout and a slightly different sketch.  Basically same sketch just a few differences that I'm sure you can see.  And goes to show you how you really can make a sketch your own.  Here's the other layout.

Patterned Paper:  Lily Bee
Stickers:  letters by Lily Bee
Gems:  My Mind’s Eye
Die cutting machine:  Cameo
Adhesive:  American Crafts, Scotch ATG
Pen:  American Crafts and Sharpie
Mist:  Studio Calico
Stitching:  Sewing Machine

Can't wait to see what you create! Go over on the Lily Bee blog to see the sketch and play!
