Keep Calm and Carve On | Scraptastic Kit Club

My last layout (saving the rest to finish the Halloween Mini album), with the Blackbird Scraptastic kit.

So glad I got step by step photos as I carved this Minnie Mouse into the foam pumpkin.  And Then on one of my Bath and Body Works soaps for Halloween it had the quote, "Keep Calm and Carve On."  I knew it would be perfect.
I tried to stick with just scraps from the kit without using too much to save for the mini album.  And still have enough for it.  There's the spider stamp from the coordinating stamp set with the kit.
Closeup of title using the Glitz letters and cut out the card with a Lawn Fawn die.
Another one of the stamps from the set.  Both were stamped and embossed on vellum.
Loving the white and black, so used these leftover leaves from an altered project, I'll share tomorrow, on the raven.  Using the Lawn Fawn leaf die for this.  Love that die.
Thanks as always for stopping by!

  8. Oh, I LOVE it! This brought out the Halloween spirit in me. I have been so absorbed in my painting class that I've completely lost track of the calendar. I really force myself to be present for the season in the mornings because I know that this is my FAVORITE time of the year and I want to savor the beauty of it, but everything else has been sacrificed (including Halloween anticipation) for painting. Luckily, Gracie, Tom, and my parents are carrying on without me :) But, gosh, I LOVE that pumpkin.
