Gold and Silver Christmas Card
Happy Hump Day! I hope you have had a chance to take a look at the new Journey Holidays Trends Mini Catalog from Fun Stampers Journey. Fall, Halloween, Christmas...are probably my most favorite times of the year to get creative and crafty. Lots of new things to get the creative juices flowing!
I don't normally make my Christmas cards to send out...I know I am bad...I tend to do photo cards. But this card makes me want to start sending some handmade cards this year! I was both stumped and inspired by the Bloom-Fetti that is part of the Bloom Benefits in the big Catalog that just came out in June.
I penciled in a triangle from the Pennant Fun die set. Then using the White Liner, I placed strips, and then adhered rows of the Bloom-fetti. There is a shiny gold like our Mirror Gold paper, and then there's a silver and gold that are similar to our Brushed Silver and Gold papers. So pretty! I love Gold and silver for holidays. Oh, and FYI, the brushed silver and gold fetti, do have a front and back, so use the side that has a sheen to it.
For the Sentiment, I decided to keep with the Gold and Silver by heat embossing in Gold on the Mirror Silver paper using the Merry Words stamp set. I do have the die for that set which I love because the whole set is sentiments, and you will get so much use out of a die for those!
...and to top off my tree, I used another Bloom Benefit, Bloom Stars. Has such a cool leather texture look to it! Both the Bloom Stars and Bloom-fetti are exclusive when your order totals $50 or more. You could easily buy the stamp, die set, the papers and the Whip Cream cardstock, and get these two Bloom Benefits with your order. So much use out just these two Bloom Benefits. I'm on my second pack of stars and need more!
Thank you for stopping by! Hope you can carve out some time to get creative and play with some of the new goodies Fun Stampers Journey has come out with in both the big Catalog and the Journey Holidays Trends Mini Catalog...and please share, would love to see!
