Pinkfresh Studio will pull the winners & post them on Sunday, April 14th on their GIVEAWAY PAGE. Just make certain that you check the page & claim their prize within 2 weeks. To celebrate, I created two projects, both using the Lost in the City Stamp and Die Set on both projects. For my first project, I used the stamp and die on a Travelers Notebook spread.
Using paper from the Everyday Musings 6x6 paper pack, I die cut and stamped using the Lost in the City set and used it for a unique way with my photo under it, having the main subjects in the center. I fell in love with this set when it was released in January, and I had this idea but wasn't sure it would work.
I used more of the paper to back the rest of the die cut. Then using watercolor paper and the Pinkfresh Aquamarine Watercolor, I die cut another piece, but used the inside pieces to match up and adhere. You'll see I used that other die cut piece later... I added some stitching, more paper under this die to peek out from the top and bottom and die cuts from the Joyful Day Ephemera pack to finish this side.
Inspired by my colors, leftover strips of pattern paper, and that vertical dotted pattern paper I have as the first layer on the left, made the right side come together quickly. I started by stamping the sentiments from the Lost in the City stamp set in different coordinating colors, added the strips of pattern paper from trimming the die cut on the left to fill in.
Added my journaling to one of the die cuts from the Joyful Day Ephemera Pack, and continued filling in with the ephemera pack to complete this side. Some added stitching to continue that look from the left.
I already had that watercolor paper with the Pinkfresh Aquamarine Watercolor die cut from the Lost in the City, so I decided to make a card from it.
For the stamping, I heat embossed some Nuvo Ocean Sparkle for a tone-on-tone but sparkly look. You can also see I filled in some of the die cutting with yellow. I used another watercolor piece of paper with Pinkfresh Studio Sunshine Watercolor...saving that other piece for later! To create a similar watercolor look to my die cut, I used the Everyday Musings 6x6 paper pack paper as a card panel behind it.
I stamped the sentiment on a die cut piece from the Everyday Musings Ephemera Pack, then added more sparkle by filling in some of the die cut areas with Nuvo Pearl Rectangles, Jewel Drops, and Dream Drops. Pictures cannot do this card justice because it twinkles and sparkles in the light.
