Hello everyone! Welcome to Waffle Flower's Planner - Stay Focused Blog Hop!
Waffle Flower has invited some planner friends, along with their own design team, to bring you a fun hop about planners! Some of us are hard-core planner nerds, and some of us have just started, like me. We all have one thing in common, as well as many of you who are reading this post, we are juggling between many roles in life and we want to plan them all well. Family is as important as our personal achievement. How do we stay focused?
The main purpose of the hop is to share tips on using a planner to help us get things done so we can spend more time with our loved ones or just playing.
We will be featuring our brand new stamp set called Planner - Stay Focused in the hope that planning can become part of your life if it is not already. No matter how you organize your life, we hope you can find or make something that will work for you to makes things go even smoother.
These stamps inspired me so much, I couldn't wait to play with them. As my daughter and I spent quality time together at the kitchen counter planning out our planners together, this is how I decided to organize October.
I am using some pages and bits from the Cocoa Daisy October planner kit (sold out), but check here on how you can subscribe to future kits. I started with a blank page categorizing areas of focus for this month. Repeating the journaling lines stamp to give myself room to jot things down.
Love the calendar stamp set where you can create your own calendar. Used the stamp on a small 3x4 card from the Cocoa Daisy October kit.
In addition to having the inserts for the week already, I wanted to try a different approach to a new week to help keep the focus on just that week. Using the calendar, calendar numbers, and the Stay Focused stamps, I created a sheet starting with Sunday of each week, listing all areas I want and need to do.
Another idea is to start your week on Monday instead of Sunday, and also instead of the Stay Focused stamped boxes, you could just use the bullets.
This still gives the option, if you choose, to decorate as you like. Also puts in perspective how fast the month goes!
By keeping each page to focus on what needs to be done in that week, helps me make the most of my time, and accomplish the things that matter the most.
My planner is neat and pretty, but I can't wait for those jotted down notes, added washi, stickers, clips here and there. October is one of my favorite months, and I am ready to get the most from it.
