Pink Paislee Atlas Cards

On the Pink Paislee blog last week was all about designer details.  I love little details on my projects, and used a few of them on these cards.
For the first card, my details were the circles punched to form a frame, the USA die, chipboard piece adhered with foam adhesive, and the silver thread around to frame it.  Simple details, but I love the whole look of this with the blues and greys.

Next I used another die, but cut it from the base of the card, backed with pattern paper, and hand stitched around it.  I added machine stitching in a similar red to the embellishments for that added pop of color.

The last card, I punched several stars in rainbow colors.  It would have been just fine adhering as is, but I added watercolors to go behind them, filled in with a few more embellishments to match the colors.  The adventure lines up perfectly with this.  I left the white space at the bottom since the top is so heavy.

I used the Atlas collection on all of these card.  Cards are such a fun way to play with different techniques.  Would love to see you in my Big Picture Class "Cards for Scrapbookers."  I have a video for all four lessons showing the process of all 12 cards using just scrapbooking supplies, no stamping, just digging into your supplies.  I had so much fun getting creative in this class, so hope you join me!
