Welcome to the Evelin T Designs Winter/Christmas Stamp Release! We are celebrating day 2 of the release with a blog hop and giveaways. You should have come from the very talented, Annette Allen's blog. I'm so excited for my very talented friend and her creations, seeing her vision come into these stamps she can share with everyone! I always enjoy her style and designs and today we introduce Day 2 with Be Merry, Winter Magic, Season's Greetings. First card I'm sharing is with the Be Merry Set!
I created two panels for this slimline card. The plaid pattern paper just says the holidays to me and the color is just right and not too busy. I used this side to heat emboss in black my sentiment on a die cut label.
My right side is the white card panel. I started by blending some green for my mushroom tree and the merry makers. I colored and detailed cut them out to place where I wanted, adding foam adhesive on two to add dimension. I LOVE the little notes, so had to add them to the background, and then to tie in with the black sentiment, I added black acrylic stars from Elle's Studio.
This next set, Winter Magic, I predict is going to be very popular. It has some amazing design in it. I wanted to show off the set in a different way to really show off the versatility of the set. I started by using my Star Piercing dies to create a background on the black cardstock panel. Then I heat embossed in gold with the clouds and stars from the set.
With those pierced stars on my background, to make them pop, I layered shiny silver cardstock behind it! With my background created, I heat embossed the cute critters in white on white cardstock. Next I added watercolors to them. Once dry, I used a Star Die on each one, and also die cut in blue cardstock for a panel for each one.
I heat embossed the sentiment in gold on shiny silver paper. There is so much shine on this card, it is hard to capture it on the camera, but you can still see it! Every time you turn it, you see the shiny silver behind the pierced stars, the gold embossed clouds, and the sentiment.
Now onto another that I predict to be very popular is the Season's Greetings. This set has amazing sentiments. We can't get enough of them, and they are all not just so useable, but the FONTS are AMAZING!
I let this sentiment take center stage on my watercolored background.
Another layer I added to my background was using stenciling the rays.
