Altenew Adventures Ahead Stamps/Dies/Stencils/More Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Welcome to the Altenew Adventures Ahead Stamps/Dies/Stencils/More Collection Release Blog Hop and Giveaway!  You should be coming from the blog of the talented Reiko Tsuchida.  As with all of Altenew's releases, lots of inspiration and giveaways, details below!

I found inspiration with all of the products, and I think one of my top favorites are the Polka Dot Buds Layering Stencil and the Spectacular Adventures Stamp and Die.  For this first project, I used the stencil in a different way than intended with a bokeh, ombre background look.  I used the Spectacular Adventures die with the new Evening Skyline Washi, then used the stamp set for the sentiment.

The next card, I used the same products, but used the stencil as intended, then used the Spectacular Adventures Stamp to create a vintage looking background while also sponging areas of the background with black ink.  To continue the vintage look, I tore pattern paper from the new Dreamy Sunset 6x6 Paper Pack.

I used a pale great for stamping the image and the same blue ink from the background for the center to layer over the sunglasses.  I used the coordinating die to cut it out and a piece of foam to give my shades some dimension.

I love cards, but I can always find ways to use Altenew products with scrapbooking.  This is a project I started awhile back with Altenew's Scrapbooking collections for all of the years my daughter has been in ballet.  For this project I used Stellar Layering Stamp Set, Stellar Die Set, Stellar Background Stencil, Rainbow Blots 6x6 Paper Pack, Color Bands Die Set, and Mountain Builder Die Set.

I first cut out several pieces using the Color Bands Die Set with the Rainbow Blots 6x6 Paper Pack.  I layered these over trimmed down squares, and a stamped planet/circle using coordinating die on a couple of the squares.  I used the planned with the rings and coordinating die to create the gorgeous Saturn to connect my grid together and create balance.  I finished with a sentiment from the stamp set, and a few more stamped and die cut pieces along the edges.

The right side, I created a pocket!  I was playing with the new Montain Builder Die Set to see how I would want to layer pieces, and discovered I really liked the long mountain edge dies to create a pocket.  After cutting and trimming it, I just sewed it to a cardstock background, lined the inside with more of the Rainbow Blots 6x6 Paper back, then filled with my photos.  For the outside of the pocket, I used the Stellar Background Stencil, Color Bands Die Set, and a sentiment from the stamp.  The chipboard letters are from the Altenew Wildflower collection.

Another stamp, stencil, and die set perfect for scrapbooking is Let's Go.  I used a combination of the stencil with the stamping to create my image on the vellum piece on the left.

The coordinating die comes with two different circles, on that will cut around the circle, and another that cuts around an gives you this border piece to layer over it.  I used just that piece for my stenciled and stamped image and then for a bold look stamped the sentiment in black in.  For the bottom I used the Dreamy Sunset 6x6 paper pack and the Mountain Builder Die Set to create my layers and added all of this directly to my large photo.  FYI:  the bottom of the vellum, I used another mountain edge die from the builder set.

I decided to offset my circled photos to continue with the circle design, die cutting, stamping and stenciling on the right.  Once placed, I added my journaling, then adhered into place.
